How Poland's largest law firm implemented Microsoft Intune.

Customer situation

The firm is the largest among Polish law firms. Since 1993, their experts have been advising both Polish and foreign clients in almost all business sectors. They currently employ 190 experts with various specializations. They have offices in Warsaw, Poznan and Wroclaw. They rank high in international rankings. For reasons of service quality and confidentiality, the client invests in the best security and management technologies. In the case of our project, it was to support management and provide security for globally distributed lawyers.

Proposed solution

The challenge in this project was to manage the involvement of highly qualified members of the legal team, who are recognized as the best lawyers in the country and in Europe, often available remotely. We had to minimize their attendance at trainingcg during the project and ensure uninterrupted operations throughout the implementation. Solution Partners/Microsoft Services and Technology helped us by using Microsoft 365 and Intune.

We started by conducting an initial pre-implementation technical analysis with the client's IT team to gather information on technical and business requirements. We then configured Intune profiles, including Autopilot, ESP and Domain Joining, and confirmed the proper configuration. Temporary VPN access was provided for deployment purposes.

The company's main business objective was to meet the high standards of audit regulations, ensuring the secure processing of information with the highest degree of confidentiality. To minimize the risk to users with less IT knowledge, guaranteeing the highest standards without compromising functionality or impeding work.

Conclusions of the project

Any company that provides its employees with mobile devices for business purposes must ensure that only whitelisted applications are installed on these devices.

Our client is a law firm that works mainly with confidential documents. It is therefore necessary to maintain the highest level of security. In such a situation, Microsoft Intune seems to be an essential tool for the smooth operation of the company.
