A few words about our new partner.
In December 2020, Ivanti announced the finalization of the acquisition of MobileIron, our existing partner, a leading provider of mobile-oriented unified endpoint management solutions, and Pulse Secure LLC, a leading provider of secure access and mobile security solutions. This combination further strengthens Ivanti's position, backed by Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. and TA Associates, as a global market leader in UEM, Zero Trust security and ITSM.
We didn't have to wait long for the results - already in January this year, Ivanti was recognized as a leader in IDC's MarketScape ranking for UEM software for 2020-2021, for its deep security capabilities, strong support for a wide range of devices, and broad sales channel reach.
"We believe this is a validation that Ivanti/MobileIron delivers one of the most robust UEM solutions for mobile and PC devices," - Alan Braithwaite, senior director of product management at Ivanti, said. "The acquisition of MobileIron has accelerated our UEM roadmap, enabling us to discover, manage and secure any endpoint on any network. Looking ahead, we are well positioned to deliver even greater value to our customers by delivering a truly integrated platform that combines our UEM, security and IT service management stacks and enables customers to proactively and autonomously self-heal, self-secure and self-service devices across the enterprise."
"With the acquisition of MobileIron, Ivanti has expanded its capabilities around modern endpoint management and security, becoming a strong leader in UEM. The combined company also has an extensive global network of mobile operators, resellers and enterprise infrastructure software partners," - Phil Hochmuth, program vice president for enterprise mobility at IDC, said. "With the combined strengths of each company, both large and small and medium-sized enterprises looking for centralized mobility management functions and tools should consider Ivanti."
