FragmentSmack - a bug resulting in very high CPU load as a result of sending specially crafted IPv4 or v6 frames to the server - has just been patched by Microsoft.
Enabling easy DDoS attacks, the bug was discovered on Linux systems by Juha-Matti Tilli, who put forward the thesis that windows systems and macOS could also be vulnerable. After confirmation from Redmond, the bug has been fixed on all affected systems.
