Collections is basic concept of organizing detected Configuration Manager resources. Resource (e.g. a computer) can be a member of a collection using direct rule, query, device category or include/exclude another collection. Collection membership can be additionally limited by choosing limiting collection.
There is a simple way to determine collection relationships using CM admin console (version 2103 and above).
To view a collection relationships select command “View Relationships” from a collection context menu.
